Privacy policy
This is a static research site. It has no accounts, no logins, no comment system and no forms, which means there is very little to collect and correspondingly little to explain.
Crypto Miami (crypto-miami.com) is operated as an independent research publication. This policy explains what happens to information when you visit. It applies to this website only, not to any third-party service you reach from it.
What we do not collect
We do not operate user accounts, logins, profiles, newsletters, comment sections or contact forms. We do not ask for your name, address, phone number, date of birth, financial details or identity documents, and there is nowhere on this site to give them to us. We do not sell personal information, because we do not have any to sell.
We never ask for and will never want your wallet seed phrase, private keys, exchange credentials or account passwords. No legitimate website needs these. Anyone requesting them, in our name or any other, is attempting theft.
Server logs
Like essentially all websites, the hosting infrastructure that serves these pages records standard technical request data — IP address, timestamp, requested URL, referring page, browser and operating system. This is generated automatically by the web server, is used for security and to diagnose faults, and is retained only for as long as the hosting provider's ordinary retention period.
Analytics
Where analytics are used, they are configured to measure aggregate page performance — which pages are read, how quickly they load, roughly where readers arrive from — rather than to build profiles of individuals. We have no interest in tracking you across the internet and nothing to gain from it.
Cookies and local storage
This site does not require cookies to function. It sets no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies of its own. If your browser stores anything at all from this domain it will be minimal and functional. You can block or delete cookies for this site in your browser settings with no loss of functionality whatsoever.
Third-party links
We link extensively to exchanges, operators, government registries, statutes and other publications. When you follow one of those links you leave this site and the destination's own privacy policy and terms apply. We have no control over and take no responsibility for how third parties handle your data.
All external links on this site carry rel="nofollow". Some outbound links are
commercial: if you open an account through one, we may receive a commission at no additional
cost to you. That relationship transmits no personal information from us to anyone — the
third party knows only what you tell it directly. Our
editorial policy sets out how commercial links are disclosed

Fonts, images and external resources
Typefaces and images are served from this domain rather than from a third-party content network, so viewing a page does not disclose your visit to an outside font or asset provider. That decision was made for page-speed reasons and privacy is a welcome side effect.
Children
This site is intended for adults. It is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them. Digital-asset services generally require users to be 18 or older.
Your choices and rights
Because we hold no personal accounts or profiles, there is generally nothing for us to export, correct or delete. Depending on where you live you may have rights over personal information held about you — including rights of access, correction, deletion and objection under laws such as the Florida Digital Bill of Rights, the California Consumer Privacy Act and the GDPR. If you believe we hold information about you and wish to exercise any of those rights, write to contact@crypto-miami.com and we will respond.

We will update this page if our practices change, and the date at the top reflects the last revision. Material changes will be evident from the text rather than buried.
